The ever new, unfolding spring
Ancient Truth, flowers bring
Growing light draws from Earth
Plant strength Animal birth
Balance between two queendoms of life
Seasons pick who feels the knife
The bite of the grazer yields to the fang
All are beholding to storms winter sang
Memories of snow, sleet and rain
At the time...damp, cold, pain
But now before summers withering heat
Those past discomforts seem an exotic treat.
